Neuroendocrine tumors (NETs) are often called the ‘great mimics’ because their symptoms can resemble so many other conditions. For many patients, this means years of uncertainty, misdiagnoses, and unanswered questions. NET Cancer Day is an opportunity to raise awareness about this often-overlooked disease. It’s a day to educate others, share our stories, and advocate for better understanding, research, and early diagnosis. Together, we can bring hope to those affected by NETs and work towards a future where these cancers are identified and treated promptly.
