Meet Our Providers

Dr. Goedken is a family physician who joined Family Physicians of Cedar Rapids in 1999. He welcomed Jennifer Forkner, a nurse practitioner, as a member of the team in 2011. Appreciating and utilizing each provider’s expertise provides high patient satisfaction and allows us to participate and achieve outstanding ratings through insurance-sponsored quality programs. Our providers manage acute and chronic disease with expertise in chronic illness management and drug therapy, including some natural medicines.

Weight Loss Injections

We have recently expanded our services to include Semaglutide (Ozempic & Wegovy) and Tirzepatide (Mounjaro & Zepbound) Weight Loss Injections.

Hormone Therapy

We are also proud to be a Biote Provider offerring Hormone Replacement Therapy.
