• For over 50 years, our Family Practice has had the honor of caring for generations of families in our community. Watching patients grow, families expand, and relationships build is what has shaped our office into what it is today. In 2023, we began sharing more about our services on social media, including medical weight loss injections and hormone therapy. Many new patients found us through those posts and discovered something special: a doctor’s office they now call home. Today we’re proud to offer care that supports many areas of health, including: • GLP-1 Medical Weight Loss • Supportive Supplements • Hair Growth Options • Hormone Therapy • Men’s and Women’s Sexual Health No matter how someone finds us, our patients and their care will always be our number one priority.

  • Did you notice it stayed lighter a little longer last night? That’s because we just “sprang forward” with Daylight Saving Time! While losing an hour of sleep can feel a little rough on a Monday morning, the extra evening daylight brings a wonderful opportunity for something good, movement and fresh air. Daylight Saving Time was first widely adopted during World War I as a way to make better use of daylight hours and conserve energy. Over the years, it has become something many of us look forward to because it signals the approach of spring, longer days, and more time outside. And those longer evenings can be great for your health. That extra hour of daylight is the perfect reminder to: • Take a walk after dinner • Ride a bike with your family • Play outside with the kids or grandkids • Simply step outside for some fresh air and sunshine […]

  • March often makes us think of green, fresh starts, springtime, and a new season ahead. But there’s another important color this month: blue. 💙 March is Colorectal Cancer Awareness Month, a time dedicated to education, early detection, and prevention. As we step into the first Monday of March, it’s the perfect reminder to prioritize something we often put off, our health. ⸝ Why This Matters Colorectal cancer affects the colon or rectum and is one of the most common cancers in both men and women. The good news? It is highly treatable and often curable when caught early. Screenings save lives. Early detection truly makes all the difference. ⸝ Signs & Symptoms to Watch For Colorectal cancer can sometimes develop quietly, but there are symptoms you should never ignore: • Changes in bowel habits (diarrhea, constipation, or narrowing of stool) lasting more than a few days • Blood in or on the […]

Our social media is a place where we share helpful health education, wellness tips, office updates, and information about treatments we offer, including medical weight loss options. One of those options is WegovyÂŽ, an FDA-approved, once-weekly injection designed to help with weight loss by reducing appetite and helping you feel fuller longer. It’s prescribed and monitored by our medical team to ensure it’s safe and appropriate for you. Our reps have been able to provide us with enough samples of WegovyÂŽ to give patients a two-week trial of this medication requiring only an office visit to educate patients on the safe use and administration of this medication. If weight loss injections have been something you’ve been thinking about, or if someone you know could benefit, now is the […]

  • Yesterday the world lost a beloved actor and father too soon. James Van Der Beek, known to so many from Dawson’s Creek and beyond, passed away at age 48 after a courageous battle with colorectal cancer. His wife shared that he faced his final days “with courage, faith, and grace,” surrounded by love. What the Numbers Say Colorectal cancer, what doctors often call colon or rectal cancer, has become increasingly common in younger adults.
