This Memorial Day we at Family Physicians pause to reflect on the true meaning of this important day. While many enjoy the long weekend with family barbecues, parades, and the unofficial start of summer, we remember that Memorial Day is, above all, a time to honor and remember the brave men and women who gave their lives in service to our country.

Their sacrifice has secured the freedoms we cherish and the opportunities we enjoy, including the privilege to care for our community’s health and well-being. We are deeply grateful to all those who have served, especially those who made the ultimate sacrifice.

We also recognize the families who carry the legacy of these heroes. Your strength and resilience are an inspiration, and we honor your loved ones’ memory with heartfelt gratitude.

This Memorial Day, our office encourages everyone to take a moment of reflection, perhaps attend a local remembrance event, or simply thank a veteran or service member in your life. It’s in these quiet acts of remembrance that the spirit of Memorial Day lives on.

Thank you to our fallen heroes. We honor you today and always.

Warm wishes for a safe and meaningful Memorial Day.
