Honoring Strength, Celebrating Survivors

Today, on National Cancer Survivors Day, we pause to honor the courage, resilience, and hope of every individual who has faced cancer and continues to thrive.

To all cancer survivors, your strength inspires us, your stories uplift us, and your journey reminds us of the power of perseverance and the importance of compassionate care. We also recognize the families, friends, and healthcare professionals who walk alongside you every step of the way.

Survivorship is more than a milestone, it is a testament to the human spirit. Today, we celebrate you.

Do you remember Darlene?

I had the sweetest full-circle moment running into a former nurse Darlene from Family Physicians, the very same one who took care of me back when I was a much younger patient. Now, years later, I’m part of the office she once worked with and I am still a patient. Funny how life brings things back around in the most meaningful ways. 💙

Do you remember Darlene? She did come to visit Dr. Goedken, but I had to ask her for a selfie.

As many of you know, Dr. Goedken is not only a dedicated physician but also a deeply compassionate person who cares immensely for each and every patient. During this time of personal loss, we ask that you keep Dr. Goedken and their family in your thoughts and prayers.

We know how much your support means, and if you feel moved to share a message of condolence, our office will make sure it […]

Graduation and Health: Milestones That Mark Our Progress

As the season of caps, gowns, and proud celebrations arrives, it’s hard not to reflect on what graduation really means. It’s more than just a ceremony, it’s a milestone. And much like in education, our health journey is full of milestones too.

The Journey, Not Just the Destination

Graduation doesn’t happen overnight. It’s the result of years of dedication, setbacks, learning, and progress. Similarly, good health isn’t a one-time achievement, it’s a continuous process. It takes:

• Regular checkups (like exams before finals)

• Daily habits (just like studying a little […]
