Family Physicians of Cedar Rapids is owned by Dr. Goedken who has been collaboratively practicing in this clinic since 1999. The providers actively manage and take pride in their small family medicine clinic. We highly regard our ability to independently make decisions to best accommodate the health care needs of our patients.
We offer comprehensive medical care for the entire family, across the spectrum of pediatrics to geriatrics. Our health care professionals are committed to providing each patient with an exceptional level of care and attention. Family Physicians of Cedar Rapids is conveniently located in the downtown medical corridor between both hospitals.
Dr. Goedken is a family physician who joined Family Physicians of Cedar Rapids in 1999. Dr. Kautzman was a pharmacologist with eleven years of experience as a residency faculty until joining the practice in 2005. They welcomed Jennifer Forkner, a nurse practitioner, as a member of the team in 2011. Appreciating and utilizing each provider’s expertise provides high patient satisfaction and allows us to participate and achieve outstanding ratings through insurance-sponsored quality programs. Our providers manage acute and chronic disease with expertise in chronic illness management and drug therapy, including some natural medicines.
